Among Quebec Anglophone Cegeps and among all cegeps in Montreal, Vanier College Nursing ranked first when it obtained the highest success rate of its graduates at the annual professional exams of the Quebec Order of Nurses (Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec), written in September 2009.
With a success rate of 88.2%, Vanier ranked ahead of the provincial success rate of 82.4% for students writing the exam for the first time, and placed eighth overall in the province among all graduates of Cegep and university Nursing programs. In all thirty-four students graduated from the Vanier Nursing program in 2009.
